Southern Hospitality

I enjoyed some nice Southern Hospitality in Newberry, South Carolina the past days. I was speaking at the Newberry Opera House, a classic renovated Opera House reminiscent of the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen. It felt like home. I was sharing my transplant and Olympic experiences for the Gift of Life of South Carolina. It was my first visit to South Carolina and I loved it. Thanks to everyone at Gift of Life for your hospitality during my visit. I look forward to hopefully returning soon!I was in Burlington, VT all last week designing the Gold Medal Race boards for next season. It couldn’t have gone better. I’m so stoked on my new boards. I can’t wait to get on ‘em. I’m confident I’ll be on the best gear next year!I returned home last night from SC in time to ride Aspen Mtn. on closing day. It was dumping all day here in Aspen. I got in just before the storm closed DIA today. I’m so bummed our mountains are closing after today. I’m planning to head over to Vail for some more turns and testing next week. Enoy the pics. Thanks for stoppin’ by!CKNewberry Opera House, Newberry, South Carolina
