Burton-Klug Camp 2005!
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
Our 5th annual Burton-Klug camp ruled this weekend. What a turnout, sixty kids a day. We had so much fun. I think everyone that participated was super stoked. Our coaching staff was awesome. Thanks to everyone that joined us and helped to make it such a great success. The conditions were perfect, full on winter snow until three-quarters of the way down Buttermilk Mountain. A lot of the participants that came this year are headed to Copper Mtn. for National Champs this week. I hope the camp prepared you to win! Good luck to our Nationals competitors. Go fast and have fun! The camp was a total workout for me, way too much sun and talking (lost my voice), but it was worth it. Thanks to my coaching staff who made it happen. I hope eveyone had fun and improved. I hope to see you all again next spring.I’m headed out to go freeride on Ajax; don’t want to miss a day. I’m bummed Aspen Mtn. and Snowmass are closing this weekend with all the snow we still have. After missing a month in the middle of the season due to my collarbone injury I don’t want it to end! I’m headed off to Burlington tomorrow to build my Gold Medal winning race boards with Burton. I’ll be riding and testing all spring, before trading in my snowboards for surfboards in May. Have a great spring. Thanks again to everyone that supported the camp. Enjoy the photos below. Best wishes.CKBurton-Klug Camp 2005, Buttermilk Mtn., Aspen, CO
