AST Training Mt. Hood, Oregon
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
I had another awesome week of training with my AST teammates at Mt. Hood, Oregon last week. We’re getting up early and working hard, but it’s beautiful up there and we’re all ripping and having fun. I’m riding some of the best slalom I’ve ridden. One more week of training next week at Hood, then I’m headed back home to Aspen for a few weeks before traveling to The Netherlands for our indoor slalom World Cup Opener at SnowWorld in Landgraaf. I’m excited to start racing again.
Last week I was on the Oregon Coast with my family and friends camping and surfing. The surf was super fun. It was mellow early in the week, then grew to about ten foot over the weekend. Nice to see some size in September. We surfed about three times a day. My arms were worked by the end of the week. Adam Smith and Zac Kay joined us as well as some of my Central OR friends. It was a nice break being in the water between training sessions at Mt. Hood. I’m enjoying a relaxing weekend in Sisters riding my mountain bike and watching football. Have a fun weekend! I’ll keep ya posted from training next week at Mt. Hood!
