Speaking and Kiteboarding in South Carolina

Friday I spoke at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and St. Joseph’s Candler in Savannah, Georgia. We had a couple of great events that recognized the great work the two programs are doing. Missy and I stayed the weekend with our friend David at Fripp Island, S.C. about twenty-five minutes from Hilton Head, S.C. We had a lot of fun. The weekend was filled with kiteboarding, golfing, running on the beach, and viewing alligators. I couldn’t believe how big some of the gators were. Needless to say I didn’t go looking for any of my errant tee shots. I lost a lot of golf balls. I did get to eat shrimp and grits; gotta love Southern cookin’. The wind was solid yesterday, which made for a fun kiting session. My new Slingshot Link Kites rule in the surf. I don’t think they’ve seen a lot of kiteboarding on Fripp Island; I did my best to give the curious on-lookers a good show.
If you’re looking for a good snowboard camp this summer, check outAll Star Adventures New Zealand Camps. Klug Camp participants get a special discount. I may see ya down there in September. Enjoy the pictures. Thanks for checking in.
