Ride of your Life Premiers

I hope you’re enjoying a fun spring. It’s supposed to be the off-season, but I haven’t slowed down a bit. Happy Donate Life Month in April. I’ve been busy spreading the organ donation message this month. We premiered our new documentary film “Ride of your Life” in Denver and Aspen this month to celebrate. The local Aspen premier last Saturday night at the Wheeler Opera House was a great success. We had about three hundred and fifty in attendance for the screening and concert sponsored by CKF to celebrate Donate Life Month. I was really proud that we were able to host a free event and promote organ donation. The response was super positive. A few people told me afterwards they went home and signed up to be donors that night. Another shared with me that he didn’t know how anyone could watch that film and not decide to be a donor. The message was heard loud and clear. After the show Hannah and Sonya, two liver transplant recipients who shared their journey through the transplant process in the film, received a standing ovation. It was a really cool event.
Our 7th Annual Aspen Klug Camp 2007 was a lot of fun. Thanks to those that joined us and helped make it a success. I really enjoy following up my competitive season by sharing my knowledge and passion for the sport with others. Thank you to our awesome coaching staff that makes the camp what it is. Check out the Klug Camp 2007 Photos. Sorry it took me a while to post ‘em. These images are a available for free to the 2007 Klug Camp participants. Enjoy!
Last week I summitted and rode South and North Hayden outside Aspen with some local friends. We climbed six thousand vertical feet, covering thirteen miles in eight hours. It was a long day. Springtime in Aspen rules!
I’m off to go surfing. Enjoy your spring. Talk to ya when I return. Happy off-season!
