27th Bertan’s Cup New York City Visit
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
Missy, baby Bali and I visited New York last weekend. I played in the 27th Annual Bertan’s Cup golf and tennis tournament at Sleepy Hallow Country Club on Saturday. I’m a lousy tennis player and a worse golfer, but I had a lot of fun. Thanks to my partner Stuart for putting up with me! It was a super fun event. It’s a beautiful club with awesome views of the Hudson River. Monday we spent the day in the city. We walked from Grand Central via Chelsea, Tribeca, Soho, and downtown all the way to the southern tip of Manhattan. Walking the different city neighborhoods is my favorite. Bali loved it. The highlights were walking the Highline Trail, walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and stopping for a sloppy rueben sandwich at one of New York City’s famous delis. We lucked out with good weather. Monday night I took Missy to Phantom. I’d never seen it before. What a show! It was a fun long weekend in New York. I spoke in Saratoga Springs on Tuesday morning to a group of New York Hospital CEO’s advocating organ donation on behalf of the Center for Donation and Transplantation. We had a fun trip!
We had snow in Aspen on Saturday. The warm Indian Summer weather has returned this week fortunately. I want to get a few more mountain bike rides and 14’ers in before winter. Have a great week. Thanks for checking in. I wanted to let you know that I just launched my Klug Properties website. It’s a great resource for learning more about the Roaring Fork Valley. I hope you like it. Check it out and let me know what you think. Enjoy the fall season!
