Mt. Shasta Climb 2008

May 12th, 2008 I climbed Mt. Shasta in Northern, California with my friends Jon Gibans and Joel Lee from Aspen, CO and Zac Kay from Mt. Shasta, California. It was an early morning after a long drive from San Francisco and a few hours sleep. It’s a long hike up Avalanche Gulch and across Misery Ridge to the top, about seven thousand vertical feet, but a beautiful adventure, and well worth the view and the ride down. It was howling along Misery Ridge. It was an awesome day on a beautiful mountain with two great friends. The next morning Jon, Joel and I went to the Redwoods State Park to check it out. I’ve never seen such amazing trees. That night we partied in San Francisco and even went swimming in the Ocean the following morning before flying home to Aspen. Enjoy the video edited by Joel Lee.
