Happy 2010!

I’m celebrating the start of the new year on the plane tonight as I fly to Europe for our next World Cup in Kreishberg, Austria January 6th. I’m bummed to miss the celebration and fireworks in Aspen, but I’m excited to train with my AST Teammates and get ready to ride fast next week. I had an awesome holiday break at home in Aspen with my family. I stayed busy training and freeriding and having fun. I had a great skate ski up to Pine Creek Cookhouse with my family for lunch yesterday. It was snowing pretty good yesterday evening; I was lucky to get out this morning. It’s been three weeks since I broke my hand and wrist when I hit a gate in training in Telluride before the World Cup there. I’ve got a killer new red, white and blue Exos brace. It rules. My hand is feeling way better. I can grab the start handles with both hands now. I’ll be training the next few days in Austria and recovering my legs from the long travel, so I’m ready to rip next week. I’ll be bringing in the new year at 40,000 feet, toasting my teammates to fun racing action in the weeks ahead! Have a fun night tonight. Best wishes for a happy new year ahead!
