Aspen Mountain Testing Camp!

I had an awesome testing camp the past three days atop Aspen Mountain. It was so much fun, and we had the place to ourselves, thanks to Aspen/Snowmass. The snow was bulletproof, couldn’t have been better for test driving my new gear. It was super productive. This morning I got twenty-one runs in less than two hours with a fast doo driver. You can’t beat a buffed out, rock hard slope by yourself in May in your hometown of Aspen. I made great progress with my equipment. I’m super stoked on my new Burton boards. I’m confident we made some good improvements. Can’t wait to ride them again in a few weeks. Special thanks to Eric, Andy, Frank, Steve, Brad, and Mark for making it happen. You guys rule!! It’s all going to pay off next February!I’m off to Bali, Indo tonight with Missy for a few weeks off surfing. Looking forward to surfing my brains out and enjoying some warm temps. Still feels like winter in Aspen. There’s so much snow. We’ll be hiking and riding into June this year! The only problem with all the winter weather at home is my body hasn’t seen the sun in six months. I’m going to fry. It is going to be an oil slick when I jump in the water with all the sunscreen I’m going to cake on. On top of the lube job I’m going to have to do, my arms will be hurting paddleing the first week.
