4th Annual Aspen Summit For Life 2009

This is a short highlight video of the 4th Annual Aspen Summit for Life 2009 event held December 12th, 2009 in Aspen, Colorado. Aspen Summit for Life is a night-time uphill race from the base of Aspen Mtn. to the Sundeck Restaurant at the top to promote organ and tissue donation and benefit the Chris Klug Foundation. 2009 was another record-breaking year for Summit for Life, in terms of attendance, participation, media coverage, fundraising, and most importantly—raising awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation. The event expanded well beyond local outlets, and captured interest all the way down to the Denver community, as well as nationally and for the first time, internationally. About 500 participants, supporters and volunteers from around the country made the trip to the top to celebrate life and the impact one person can have on the lives of so many others. The impressive turnout also included several transplant recipients and many donor families participating in the climb up Aspen Mountain.
