Kenny Chesney Concert

Missy and I road tripped from Aspen over to Salt Lake City last week to celebrate my brother’s 36th birthday at the Kenny Chesney Concert at the Delta Center. Our friend Nick Hoffman plays guitar and fiddle in the band and royaly styled us. We had the full backstage hook-up. Growing up in redneck Central Oregon, I listened to a little country music from time to time when I wasn’t head bangin’ to my favorite 80’s hair bands, but I’m not a huge country listener these days. I have to say it was an awesome show. Nick killed it. He and and the rest of the band put on a sick performance! Kenny had the mad stage moves, firing up the Morman gals. I think I’m returning to my roots; I longed for the Sisters Rodeo and my cowboy hat and found myself clicking on ‘When the Sun Goes Down’ on my ipod on the return home to Aspen. Don’t worry, I still chased it with 50 Cent. The tour was sponsored by Cruzan Rum, which was pretty cool. Liver boy got to enjoy his one allotted coconut rum specialty drink. It was a super fun time. I’m stoked we made the trip.I’m training and playing hard in Aspen now, getting fit for a big season ahead. I rode the Snowmass rim trail this morning on my mtn. bike. That trail rules. I’m headed to Little Rock, Arkansas on Tuesday for a speech on Wednesday at Baptist Medical Center with Astellas. I’ll be celebrating the 4th of July here in Aspen with my friends and family, before traveling to Oregon to test boards and hang out there. Hope you’re enjoying a good weekend and are off to a good start to your summer. Thanks for stoppin’ in. Enjoy the images below from the concert.CKPartying with our friend Nick
