Happy 4th of July 2004

Hope you had a fun 4th! I enjoyed a great one in Aspen. It was a weekend filled with climbing, mtn. biking, visiting with buddies and eating way too much. The famous Aspen 4th of July Parade was a big hit. Long one this year! I especially liked seeing all of the Veterans that have fought four our country. They are heroes and what the 4th of July are all about!I did some climbing with my buddy Jerry on the Friday before the 4th up on Independence Pass. It was awesome. It’s so killer up there. My forearms are still sore. Not easy luggin’ 225 lbs. up a slab! Thanks for your patience Jer! The firework show in Aspen was a highlight. It’s one of my favorite holidays. Hope you had a good one too!Missy and I arrived in OR last night. I’ll be here training and playing for a while. I’m looking forward to my snowboard camp, The 2nd Annual AVSC-Klug Summer Race Camp at Mt. Hood, Aug. 9-16. It will be a great training opportunity and a lot of fun.
