Kiting in Maui

I returned home to Aspen today from an epic week of kiting in Maui. I had such a fun trip. The wind cooperated and allowed me to kite every day. I had some fun down wind wave kiting sessions. There were so many turtles in the water. I almost accidently jibbed a turtle when he popped up in front of my kiteboard – I had to ollie to avoid hitting him. They’re curious creatures. Maui rules! It’s one of my favorite places. I was stoked to be back there visiting friends and having fun. I stayed busy kiting, stand up surfing, hiking and doing yoga. I was so active that I need a vacation from vacation. I saw many friends from the ski/snowboard community there also taking a break from the snow. I’m back on-snow this week at A-Basin testing equipment and getting ready for summer training. It’s summer-like weather this week in Colorado. Enjoy!CK
