Celebrity Fight Night with Muhammad Ali

Missy and I were in Phoenix, AZ last weekend supporting two charity events. Friday we participated in Florence Crittenton’s America’s Athletes Team up for Kid’s Luncheon helping to raise funds for young people. There were fifty plus Olympians and professional Athletes in attendance. I really enjoyed meeting many of the other athletes and talking with them. I talked with Scott Hamilton, Wayne Gretzky, Miss Rodeo USA, Michael Andretti, and many others. It was a great event!Saturday Night we went to Celebrity Fight Night, an evening charity dinner with Muhhamad Ali and many other pro athletes aimed at raising funds for Parkinson’s Research. It was a real honor to meet the champ. Fifty plus pro athletes were there in support as well including: Shaq, Holyfield, Barry Bonds, and many more. We sat with Michael Andretti and had a lot of fun. I had to wear a tuxedo and walk down the red carpet after Kevin Bacon. It was so funny. The charity events were awesome and so was the break in the warm weather in AZ after a full competition season. I’m still pretty tired after racing and traveling all winter.We returned home Sunday afternoon and headed straight out on a hut trip to Barnard Hut, seven miles down Richmond Ridge from the top of Aspen Mountain. I was pretty worked. A bunch of our friends joined us for the night. I’m enjoying being home in Aspen this week, relaxing and getting ready for my 4th annual snowboard camp this weekend at Buttermilk. Come join us!! Enjoy the pictures from Phoenix and our hut trip!CK
