4th Place Squaw Valley King of the Mountian

I finished 4th on Monday at the King of the Mtn. finals held at Squaw Valley. I was bummed not to have made the podium or possibly better. I was riding fast and feelin’ good, but barged the start and received the penalty which made it hard for me to advance to the finals. It was a lot of fun however! Squaw is such a sick mountain. I wish I had a week there with my freestyle board to explore. Richard won the overall crown and took home the Jeep and Jacey won the Squaw event. Team France claimed the team snowboard title. It was pretty dramatic down the stretch as there were four of us in contention right up until the finals vying for the Men’s title. My bro Jason and his girlfriend Julie and of course Missy cheered loud and represented the Klug fan club well, along with our friends Sara and Sean, and others. Thanks you guys for being there. It means a lot to me!I arrived in Sapporo, Japan tonight! What a journey. I’ll be training the next two days and racing two FIS World Cups here on 20th and 21st at Makomanai.
