Surfing Mexico

I was in Mexico two weeks ago for a week of kiting and surfing with Missy and friends. I can’t get enough warm weather and waves after a long winter on the road. We scored some good swell while in Mexico, and rode some fun waves. Nothing beats being in the ocean after the winter season.
I’ve been back in Aspen the past weeks focusing on my real estate activities and riding my bike daily. It’s nice to be home for a while. I’m spending a lot of time on my bikes this spring, shedding the winter layer and laying a good aerobic and cycling foundation, so I can hammer this summer. I’m registered and got into the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race Aug. 14th. I’m excited to participate and go for it. I rode up to Maroon Lake this evening with my friends Jon and Craig. Spring has finally arrived in Aspen after a prolonged winter. This week has been perfect riding weather.
I’m giving the commencement address at Basalt High School’s Graduation ceremony this weekend. I want to nail it, so I’m working hard to make sure my speech is dialed. I am honored to share my story and message with the graduates. Earlier this week I helped launch our new CKF Donor Dudes Educational Video at A.H.S. It was a great success. I was nominated for the Donate Life Hollywood “Person of the Year” Award. Donate Life Hollywood has opened the voting for their “Person of the Year†award and I am one of five nominees! The Person of the Year is an individual who has worked closely with the national Donate Life campaign to inspire Americans to register as organ and tissue donors. In addition to myself, All-4-One, Les Moonves, Alex O’Loughlin and Alex Band make up this year’s group of nominees Voting is open until June 6th and the Person of the Year will be announced on June 11th at a cocktail party to be held in Beverly Hills at the Paley Center.
