Enjoying Spring in Aspen!

I just got off my road bike; I spun up to Ashcroft above Aspen this morning. It’s a beautiful day here in Aspen today. I’m loving the warm temps and sunny spring days. I’m stoked to be back home after a busy winter on the road. I’ve been enjoying springtime, taking a little break from racing to catch up and spend some time on my bike and kiteboard again. I was in North Carolina last week kiting with friends. The weather ruled; it was almost eighty degrees all week. It was fun to be back on my board and in the water again. April was National “Donate Life Month,” so I was on the road all month spreading the donation message with nine appearances across the country. CKF had a busy month with big events in Nebraska and San Diego. I made a trip over to Moab in-between events to enjoy riding my mountain bike in the desert. I’m looking forward to hopefully getting back on my kiteboard and surfboard again next week before returning to snow at A Basin in May to test equipment and get ready for next winter. There’s still lots of snow in Colorado. I’m hoping to get in the high country and do some climbing and riding once Independence Pass reopens next weekend. The desert dusting we received on the Western Slope this spring kinda wrecked the spring riding. Enjoy the photos from my adventures the past month. Have a fun spring!
