Happy 4th of July!

Thanks for your patience during our construction on the site. We’ve been working hard to improve it for exciting updates ahead. I hope you’re all enjoying a great start to the summer. I’ve been busy speaking, training and playing hard. I participated in the Transplant Games a few weeks ago in Louisville, Kentucky, running in the community fun run and partaking in the opening ceremonies. it’s my favorite event of the year. Congrats to all of the athletes and donor families who participated and celebrated the gift of life and second chances.Today was the grand opening of the new Aspen Gondola. It’s awesome. Aspen Mountian is one of the best mountains to ride down – now it’s the best riding up too. I can’t wait to load it with my board in November. Check it out!Last week The Chris Klug Foundation hosted a celebrity scoop night fundraiser at Maggie Moo’s in Aspen. I scooped ice cream all night. It was classic. I botched a few orders, but had lots of help from the staff and survived the night. Thanks to everyone that came and ate ice cream to support CKF and life-saving donation.Have a fun 4th of July. It’s one of my favorite times of the year in Aspen. I’m looking forward to celebrating with my family and friends, viewing the traditional Aspen Parade and eating too much all afternoon. As of now our fireworks are cancelled due to the dry conditions. It rained a little today; hopefully it will continue and the fireworks will happen. Enjoy! Thanks for stoppin’ in.
