Copper Mtn. Training Camp

It has been an awesome training camp here at Copper Mtn., CO. It’s winter wonderland here in Colorado, frigid temps and fresh pow. We’ve recieved over three feet of snow in the past week. The freeriding is epic, the training a little soft. We’ve been loading the lift at 6:30 a.m. each morning in the dark and off the hill before ten. I’ve had to take a few afternoon naps to recover from the early sessions.Yesterday I celebrated my thirty-third birthday with a great day of training, followed by a fun family dinner last night. We had a mach parallel giant slalom race yesterday with the Swedish team, which I won, only appropriate on my B-Day. I had a little extra mojo working! My family traveled over from Aspen last night to join me for dinner. We’re racing two continental cups on Monday and Tuesday here at Copper on Tarmigin Run. I’m riding fast and having lots of fun; looking forward to fun racing action ahead. I’m going to take a few runs early tomorrow, then prepare for Bronco domination. Go Broncos!! Have a great weekend. Enjoy the pics from training below. Happy Early Thanksgiving!
