Bali Surf 2004

We returned home to Aspen from an epic Indo surf trip. Got some sick waves and a few good beatings. I had some of my best tube rides ever and have the reef scratches to show. We nailed some good surf. It was Mike, Anton, Missy and I surfing our brains out for two and a half weeks. The surf got big a few days, and was solid the rest of the time. I pretty much surfed three times a day every day. We met up with some of our Aspen buddies and some friends from the snowboard World Cup over there. Had a really fun time and improved our surfing.I’m happy to be back home in Aspen now. Came home with giardia, so that’s no fun. It’s a killer time of the year here now. I’m training, playing and catching up on some work. Heading to Indianapolis tonight to visit Indiana transplant center tomorrow and give a talk. I’m planning to train in Aspen the next few weeks before heading out to Oregon in early July to begin on-snow equipment testing and training. Thanks for stoppin’ in. Enjoy the photos from Bali.
