Berchesgaden, Germany World Cup Sunday
Posted by admin on / 0 Comments
I’m in Berchesgaden, Germany getting ready for a fast weekend of World Cup boarding. I’m ready for a good one! Busted my wrist the other day training, but it’s all good! I can still pull out of the start hard and climb onto the podium. It’s beautiful here now. I love racing here, probably because I’ve won on this hill before! The snow is a little wacky though, but it’s supposed to get cold and improve tomorrow. I’m racing PGS Sunday before returning home to Aspen for a night. Off to FL and DC from there for Donor Day kickoffs. Donor Day is going off this year. It’s the largest single day donor event in our country on Valentine’s Day. Check out www.saturnuaw.com for more info. Stop by your local Saturn Dealer to get more info on becoming a donor! Sign your donor cards and let your family know your wishes. I’m here today because of it!! Donors are heroesWe raced in Slovenia last Wednesday. I just missed the final by three hundredths. It was a tight one. I was bummed not to be racing in the night final. Sigi Grabner won with Jasey Jay coming in second and Daniel Biveson third. We were in Banff, Canada for the third King of the Mtn. event of the season just before Slovenia. We all froze. I’ve never been so cold in a start gate before racing. I endured my most spectacular wipeout of the season and finished fourth, just missing the podium. Alex Maier won, Richard Richardson second and Bozzetto third. It was a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to the finals in Squaw on Feb. 15th. For details and results stop bywww.jeepskiing.com. Thanks for checkin’ in! Rip it up!CK

Ford Excursion ‘Sunshine Suzy.’ When the gondola brokedown at Sunshine we all got shuttled to the top in a $90,000 converted Excursion. It was so sick. It goes sixty mph.
Hitler’s summer retreat, the Keilstein in Berchesgaden, Germany where we’re racing a World Cup on Sunday! We trained below the Keilstein today! If you look carefully at the shot you can see a building on top of the mountain. This was his summer hangout in Berchesgaden. In the summer there’s an elevator that takes you to the top!
