This weekend marks the traditional Aspen Winterskol Weekend! A classic Aspen event! I took a few runs on Aspen Mtn. this morning on my new boardercross board and then headed downtown for the parade. My dad’s Hotel, Aspen Square, was the hit of the parade! Their entry featured the quick-step Bellman’s Synchronized Marching Brigade! My Mom & Dad were dressed in their favorite Austrian hats and Scandanavian Sweaters lookin’ good!I’m enjoying hanging at home in Aspen, relaxing and preparing for X-Games. Nice to be home for a little while. I’ll be training with my coach the next few days on Aspen Mtn. The conditions are sick for railing turns now. I’m excited about X-Games. Should be a lot of fun! I’ve been dialing in my new boardercross gear and hitting lots of jumps the past week to get ready! I’m feelin’ good! I race in the qualifier on 23rd and finals on 25th at Buttermilk Mtn. Riding with the Munger’s! I rode with Alia and Daniel yesterday! They were winners of the Aspen Education Foundation Raffle last spring! We had a great time! They’re a couple of rippers. I had a hard time keeping up!
