TRAINING - SPECIAL THANKS
I want to thank my trainer Bill Fabrocini at the Aspen Club & Spa in Aspen, Colorado for the hard work and time he has dedicated to my training. Without him I wouldn’t be where I am today. He is no joke and I’m grateful for his guidance and support. Bill and the Sports Medicine team at the Aspen Club & Spa have helped put me back together and bounce back from a liver transplant, a broken ankle, an Achilles surgery, a devastating knee injury, and a collarbone surgery as a result of an X Games Boardercross wipeout. I’m lucky to have Bill on my team. He has created a custom training program for me that focuses on the three areas of emphasis in snowboarding.
I also want to thank my good friend and nutritionist Dr. Carlon Colker at Peak Wellness in Greenwich, Connecticut. Carlon was there when I had my liver transplant and when I won Bronze in 2002. He has been a true friend my entire athletic career. Carlon assisted me in making important adjustments in my diet and training that helped me rebound from numerous injuries and become the athlete I am today.
I train regularly at the Aspen Club & Spa in Aspen, Colorado with Bill Fabrocini. The Aspen Club & Spa has it all! The facility includes a world-class weight room and the best physical therapy and sports medicine center in the world. Trust me, I’ve spent enough time there to know. I’ve met half the town of Aspen while in physical therapy. Unfortunately most locals make a visit to the physical therapy department sooner or later if they’re going for it. Come join me at the Aspen Club & Spa for a workout! Stay healthy and listen to your body!
Thank you!
